LOGGING CAMP CABINS
A HERITAGE STAY
Balancing the exploration of wild, northwest Montana with the ease of creature comforts at the end of the day - Logging Camp Cabins is your jumping-off and landing spot.
Whether you’re on a road trip and looking to enjoy a couple of days of mountain adventure or are from the region and want to enjoy a weekend away for a local concert, or to relax and get outdoors…the quiet cabins at Rainbow Lake are just what the woods of Montana are all about.
Our family is comprised of 4th, 5th and 6th generation Northwest Montanans, specifically in Lincoln and Flathead Counties. In the early to mid-20th century, logging was the primary industry in the region and our family were loggers, running logging operations and logging camps. Due to the remote nature of logging operations, temporary camps were established to house the workers and, often, the families of the loggers would join the men in the camps during the summer months.
